The Atelier François Pouenat presents Series 1, a collection of eight pieces by Fabien Cappello, Paul Loebach and Fredrick Paulsen, with and under the artistic direction of POOL. The exhibition highlights the savoir-faire and craftsmanship of the Atelier François Pouenat. To illustrate the proximity and close understanding between the craftsman and the designers, this exhibition combines audacity and expertise in a unique collection of works.
COLLABORATION POOL/ATELIER
POOL and the Atelier François Pouenat first worked together in 2012. This soon turned into a regular collaboration when François Pouenat asked Léa Padovani and Sébastien Kieffer to oversee the visual identity and the artistic direction of his planned collection, and they in turn invited young designers to join his creative universe.
ARTISTIC DIRECTION
POOL has initiated a project to showcase the François Pouenat’s talents and has sought out upcoming designers whose work will illustrate the full range the Atelier’s expertise. Léa Padovani and Sébastien Kieffer invited Fabien Cappello, Paul Loebach and Fredrik Paulsen to design pieces that put the emphasis on metalworking skills.
